So you may think you’re looking at a stick of butter in an orange dish or perhaps somewhat of a face made from food…(that one’s sort of true) but what you are looking at, my friend, is perfection. It may not look like much (plus this is the before picture, it only gets better people) but this is one of the most simple and delicious appetizers/snacks/meals you could ever make. I would first like to say that if you are one of those closed minded people that instantly turns their nose up and says, “eww I don’t like goat cheese!” then read no further. But if your palette appreciates the creamy richness of a good chèvre, then I’ll tell you how to make this! It’s only 3 ingredients!
A log of goat cheese commonly known as chèvre (the French word for goat)
A good crusty baguette (crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside!)
Preheat oven to 400. Pour the soup into an oven safe dish and place the chèvre in the middle. Bake for about 10-15 minutes until the soup is piping hot and the cheese is melted, brown, and bubbly. Serve with baguette slices and dip the bread into the soup pulling at the chèvre simultaneously to create the perfect bite. Bon appétit!
